I received my BFA in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design and have been independently producing, publishing and printing my comics and zines ever since. In 2000 I received a Xeric Grant for my first comic, Theater of the Meek. My work has been featured in several anthologies and publications, including Scheherazade, Stuck in the Middle, and the NY Metro.  With cartoonist Kelli Nelson, I co-edited the popular anthologies True Porn and True Porn 2.

In 2004 I was a featured cartoonist in The Comics Journal’s young cartoonist issue. In 2005 I became The Center for Cartoon Studies’ first fellow.  I am currently a faculty member at CCS.
